    Why Osteopathy?

Having dual nationality, Greek and French, I moved to Strasbourg, France at the age of 18 to study and live there. It was there that I discovered osteopathy by chance, when a friend suffered a musculoskeletal injury and was advised to visit an osteopath.

We went without really knowing what an osteopath does, trusting the recommendation of an acquaintance. I accompanied him to his appointment, as he had difficulty walking—and shortly afterward, he left the clinic walking comfortably and with enthusiasm.

That experience led me to explore osteopathy further, and ultimately to choose what was then the best osteopathy school in France.

Even back then, over 15 years ago, there were more than 20,000 osteopaths in France, while in Greece there were only about 20. That’s how the journey began.
